Dearest mother...

You are the most important being in a child's life. You gave me life and nurtured me, and for that I'll always be grateful.

Thank you for being there for me everytime I needed you, always supporting me. No matter what I did,  you never yelled at me, instead you helped me understand why what I did was wrong. You've told me that you'd always be my best friend and that we could talk about anything, personal or about school. I like that you don't tell me how to handle a situation, you lead me to the best solution and when you see the outcome, you congratulate me. Thank you for the education you gave me and for all the patience you had over the years. I don't think there is another mother like you in the whole wide world: loving, smart, pacient, hard-working and who understands her child as much as you do. Though I don't always agree with this,thank you for being protective and considerate about my feelings. Over the years, I learned not to contradict you because you are always right. I only hope that when I grow up and be a parent, I could be half of the parent you and dad were and are.

On the occasion of "Mother's day", I wish you a great, happy and relaxing day. I hope I will make you proud.
